My ideal job

Today I´m going to talk you about job, a so important item of live and every day more closer to me. I would like to have a lot of jobs, but if we want to dream, I´ll dream a lot. I hate monotony, routine, and repetitive things, I like to do new thinks all time, for me is not an option being in an office. I would like to do my own job, my shop (a tea shop is my dream), or do my own investigations about art, being a successful blogger (about makeup, movies, anything), something that I enjoy, and the most important thing for me is not live for work, is just work to live, so when I think about an ideal job, the first thing is good times to job, compatible with a family life, with rest, and I’m not meaning that I wont to job, or I want to sleep late all days, because I want to have an ordered life too, but a job that complement all my activities. I would love to travel in my job, to know new places, persons and countries. I would like to take a major about Latin American art, is what I love of art, my favorite area. I don’t know much what I want to do, but I know i´ll be always in the theory of art, that´s what I like, but how everybody knows, here, in Chile, arts don’t give enough money to live, so a shop, my own business is another dream, anyway I hope to be good in what I do, and feel full with myself. Since I was 13 years old I'm a fan of Cultura Profética, a reggae band from Puerto Rico, they have good lyrics, rhythms, and my platonic love as principal voice, so they’re perfect.  I´ve gone to 2 concerts, the first one was in a festival with others reggae bands, called Siempre Vivo Reggae and the second one was the best concert I've ever gone. This concert was a long time ago, in 2011, at the Chimkowe cultural center. Cultura Profética was in a tour celebrating their 15th anniversary and they went to many countries. I went with my friend Paula, with I went to the first concert. We didn't go to the first place in the public, we prefer to be in the gallery and enjoy, and that's what we did! The band were a little late to go out and sing, but they sang a lot of songs and the concert lasted 3 hours, we sang and danced all the songs and we spend a really good time.

That was my best concert and since 2011 I’ve not gone to the many concerts that Cultura Profética have done in Chile, but I have my ticket to the next one, in December 13^th at Arena Santiago, I’ll go with Paula, my partner in concerts, and some friends, and I expect to spend a good time and enjoy all the concert.

About Movies

I like movies for many reasons, but I have to say that I’m not the biggest fan of movies, maybe is like a debt that I have, anyway I like movies because movies take me to other places and realities in a short moment, and in just two hours films can show me a good stories. Movies have saved me from bored nights and evenings. Is a good excuse to spend time with friends and family and a good excuse to spend time alone just enjoying. So from my ignorance I have to say that my favorite kinds of movies are the animated ones and the epic films, with fantasy.

A film that I’ve never forgotten is “My name is Sam”, maybe is because I saw it when I was just 10 years old, and the story was so strong, It was the first time that I cried watching a movie and I really liked that movie. I have no a favorite director and I like how many actors make they work, to mention some y can say: Owen Wilson, Danzel Washington, Meryl Streep, and so much others.

And finally, to recommend some movie, I have to say that I’ve not gone so much to the cinema this year, and the films that I’ve watched are bad, the only one that I liked was Frozen, I know, it makes me a little shy, but I laugh and enjoyed a lot it, music and characters.

Well, everything has an end and this is the time for my english blog. In general, i've liked the experience; this has been good for my english writing, to order my ideas and even to know my likes and dislikes and the preferences of my classmates. Is a good exercise to read my own posts, and identify my mistakes, and read the different writing ways of my classmates. I like to choose something about write and imagine a way to start, and a picture that complements the text.

I love blogging, and I've been waiting to find some topic that interests me enough to write about. So this is good to approach at a blog, and learn about different things, since how to publish or create a blog, until say my opinions. Maybe I´ll be an important blogger in some years (hahaha), or maybe I'll never get enough courage to start a blog and think to somebody will be interested in my opinions, but this experience counts. Being a blogger is added to my stupid dreams list.

I would like to do an activity where we choose a topic, and we play to be bloggers in anything we would like, maybe about technology, cooking, make up, literature, reviews. For me it's fun and difficult because every topic needs specific vocabularies and knowl.

My favourte book and others...

Hi everyone! I really like to read, and I have no favourite topic, but I love books about History. I don't like predictable stories and I hate predictable ends. I don't have a favourite writer ever, maybe I´t will change with time and I´ll found someone that makes me follow their books. But If I would have to choose, my favourite would be Gabriel García Marquez, I´ll don´t a big explanation about why he is my favourite because in a previous post I talk about him. I believe that he could be mi favourite because I've read his books more than any other author and I´ve liked all them.

My favourite book is The Little Prince, I think i've read it about 10 times and every time I´ve done it, I found a new aspect that makes me love it more and more this story, a phrase, a character. This book give us different things in different moments of ages of our lives and I love their simplicity.

I hope to find a writer whose books captivate me and make a before and after, but for this is necessary read more too, and look for new authors; I pray to have enough money, time and lucky to find the author of my dreams.

René Magritte

Hi everyone. If we talk about artists, I like different things about a lot, so I don´t have a favourite artist. But since I saw for first time a René Magritte paint it called my attention. René Magritte was a belgian painter. He was born in 21th august, 1989 in Lessines, Belgium. He studied in Fine Arts academy of Brussels, Belgium. His first paints were in impressionist current. He exposed some early paints and worked in a factory as designer. Then he exposed in others salons, he start to show influences from Cubism, Futurism and Purism. His paints show his personal style, what will put the attention of critics on his art. His more important jobs are “The Lovers” and “The son of men” between others. I admire him because we can read all paints like a text, they use different resources and it tells us different things, ideas, or stories. But Magritte makes those ideas a metaphorical and complex language. The takes the resources and ideas at limit and make us think. My favourite work is "The false mirror", I love the clouds, some people know it and I like how he express the idea that we look by a mirror. I love him for all reasons I told and because I like how he uses vivid colors. He was an important artist for the Surrealist current, he influenced in posterior artist and he keep doing it. Today we can see in many works of artists mentions to Magritte style.

Friday, a perfect day to watch movies

Hello Everyone! Today is Friday, a perfect day to watch a movie and eat popcorns or tacos. I like different kinds of films, my favorites films are animated films for children, action films and dramas. There’s a different kind for different moments, to watch with family, friends or alone, just to spend time. I love to go at cinema to watch films that I’ve been expecting or go with my little sister to see the last Dreamworks or Dysney movie, but is great see a movie in house, in the living room and enjoy a good time. Is hard to choose a favorite movie but my favourite animated movie is The Princess and The Flog, I love the playlist with Jazz, every song and dance, and the ambientation in New Orleans and the story is not predictable; the best character in the film is Raymond, or Ray, the firefly. He is so lovely! And he is in love with a star called Evangeline. In the second place is UP, but I cry a lot with this one. I don´t have favourite actress or actor, but I like specially Ashton Kutcher just because he is handsome, I love Meryl Streep cause she is an excellent actress, she have a big trajectory and a lot of prizes. I don´t have a favourite director but I Promise investigate to can mention someone when somebody ask to me.
